The Caira Organization for Community Development continues its efforts in raising awareness and building capacity, having organized a distinguished training session on gender and gender-based violence at the Birzeit Women's Association on Saturday, January 17.

The social and cultural roles of women and men
Stereotypes and ways to overcome them

Gender-Based Violence:
Definition of violence and its various forms
The roots of violence in societal norms
The effects of violence on the individual and society
Mechanisms for confronting and preventing it

Dr. Busaina Nazzal delivered the training in an engaging and interactive manner, where she:
